Upon completion of the Gateway to Code course students will receive a certificate of completion. This certificate grants students the opportunity to work as a web developer for Gateway to Code clients who need websites. Students can also apply to become an instructor and publish their own courses on Gateway to Code.
Becoming a course instructor is an excellent opportunity for students to pursue their passion, gain valuable experience, and make a difference in the lives of other students. Course instructors have the opportunity to teach and share their knowledge with future generations of web developers. They can make a difference by sharing their experiences and knowledge in order to motivate students to pursue careers in web development.

A course instructor should have a passion for what they are teaching and be able to share that passion with their students. They should also have a strong understanding of the subject matter that they are teaching. Students can become either an in-person instructor or an online instructor. In-person instructors often teach small groups of students in a classroom setting whereas online instructors teach larger audiences through video tutorials, podcasts, and online digital content such as the courses on Gateway to Code.
